Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez, a Mexican-American actor and singer is extremely well-known. Her family was home-schooled by her mother within the USA. She was subjected to racial remarks and felt unloved. After she participated in school contests and received high praise for her singing at the age of 9, the girl began to feel more confident. The experience not only boosted her confidence but also shifted her goals for the future. In 1992, she earned her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. She was 23 when she had her first Broadway appearance in Paul Simon's The Capeman, and her debut film, You've Got Mail were both major breakthroughs. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot She played The Lady of The Lake and was awarded the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. In the following year, when she was Callie Torres on Grey's Anatomy on ABC her role was given greater fame. As a well-known singer, she has also released both a song and a play. In addition, she's an activist and works extensively for LGBT rights.
