Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has won numerous awards for her writing and design. She has been a vocal advocate for the rights of animals. Ali MacGraw is known for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She grew up in an artist family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in artistic fields. Her first position was a photo assistant. After that, she switched to modeling and acting. She received her Golden Globe Award, for most promising newcomer. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as a Golden Globe. After only three movies, she was voted the Top female box-office debut around the globe. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, and other films. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw has married thrice.
