Hayley Orrantia, the American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her role as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is primarily a performer. She says that music was always her first passion. When she was 12 years old, music was taken seriously enough to warrant formal training. At the age of 13 She began to write herself songs. The first album she released as a cover didn't come out until fourteen years later. Since then there has been nothing but positive. Orrantia was born in the USA but is of Hispanic roots. While she grew up with solely English and has never lived in Mexico she's extremely happy about her Hispanic heritage. To keep the tradition, she's studied Spanish and created songs using the language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish that she has recorded, is a good example. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor in 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she was awarded four "yeses", or votes, from the judges at The Seattle audition. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she as well as three female vocalists were placed in the final auditions during "Hollywood Week". The group was eliminated at the fifth week in the live performances.
